ARFID Kids Camp- Initial Deposit

August 4 @ 10:00 am - August 7 @ 12:00 pm

$500.00

Join our comprehensive 8-hour program, featuring 2 hours of daily activities focused on food exploration and education tailored specifically for children with ARFID sensory-sensitivity type. Our program incorporates evidence-based treatments for ARFID including FBI-ARFID, responsive feeding, and CBT-AR techniques.

This program aims to empower kids to explore new foods, increase their awareness of their sensory superpowers, and develop confidence.

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Explain ways their bodies are smart
  • Increase their confidence in exploring novel foods
  • Describe strategies to expand food variety

This is led by Dr. Lauren Muhlheim, Psy.D., CEDS-S, the author of When Your Teen Has an Eating Disorder: Practical Strategies to Help Your Teen Recover from Anorexia, Bulimia & Binge Eating, who provides specialized outpatient therapy for children, teens, and adults with ARFID.

She is joined by Vanessa Galeano, SLP, a full-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist at a top children’s hospital treating complex feeding and swallowing disorders, and also in private practice.

To reserve your child’s spot, a $500 registration fee is required, with an additional $500 due on August 4. Join us at our ARFID Camp, where your child’s journey toward a better relationship with food begins!
