On February 4, she’ll be a speaker at the 2024 Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders (FEAST) of Knowledge. Her topic is Stages of Recovery: Setting Parental Expectations. Registration is available through FEAST’s website.
On February 6, 2024, Dr. Muhlheim will be presenting on the Treatment of Emetophobia. This presentation is for the UC San Diego Health Eating Disorders Center 2023 – 2024 Seminar Series.
On Saturday, February 8, Dr. Muhlheim will offer a live webinar for parents. She’ll discuss Eating Disorder College Readiness. Dr. Muhlheim will provide essential information for parents of high school students with eating disorders to help ensure their students are ready for the challenges of the college environment. On February 28, Dr. Muhlheim will be speaking on a special online panel for Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders (FEAST). The subject is “Promoting Life in the Treatment of Severe and Enduring Eating Disorders.” Registration is open through FEAST.
In March, Dr. Muhlheim will co-present a workshop for eating disorder professionals at the Academy for Eating Disorders’ International Conference on Eating Disorders in New York City. The topic is “A Weight-Inclusive Approach for Calculating Estimated Target Weights for Adolescents”. She’ll also be moderating a panel for the Private Practice SIG.
On May 15, Dr. Muhlheim will be providing training for staff at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. The topic is “Working with Children and their Families”.
