If you are a mental health or eating disorder clinician and are looking for a one-time or ongoing consultation from an eating disorder specialist, we can help. We provide individual and group supervision and consultation for independently licensed professionals internationally. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for ARFID (CBT-AR). Our supervisors consult with clinicians working with teens and adults and people with the full range of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, OSFED, ARFID, and disordered eating. We can also provide consultation for eating disorder treatment at various levels of care and psychological ethics.
Certified Eating Disorder Specialist–CEDS–Supervision
The CEDS is the only nationally recognized certification credential for eating disorders. The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) issues this credential. Two of our therapists are CEDS Supervisors and provide clinical consultation to therapists pursuing CEDS certification as part of their required 2500 supervised patient care hours.

Are you a therapist looking to grow your expertise in working with clients with eating disorders? Do you need consultation on a specific situation? Our specialist professionals are available to help. iaedp recognizes Lauren Muhlheim, Psy.D., FAED, CEDS-S, as an IAEDP-approved supervisor. She provides clinical consultation for the therapists in our practice, as well as therapists and other professionals practicing elsewhere who are interested in advancing their eating disorder training or acquiring CEDS status. Dr. Muhlheim is also a clinical associate in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern California (USC). She supervises doctoral students there.
Dr. Muhlheim is able to provide clinical consultation. She provides consultation to licensed therapists locally in Los Angeles or virtually around the world.
