Dr. Muhlheim has a number of upcoming events and speaking engagements this spring 2023.
Thursday, February 2, she’ll be doing a virtual training for staff at the Haven at the Center for Psychological Services at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University, her alma mater. The talk is an overview of the assessment and diagnosis of eating disorders.
On February 9, Dr. Muhlheim will be in Modesto, California presenting an 8-hour training to the Stanislaus County Department of Mental Health on Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders.
On Saturday, February 25 Dr. Muhlheim will be doing a live webinar for parents of high school students with eating disorders on “College Readiness.”
On Sunday, February 26, Dr. Muhlheim will be a speaker at the Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders (FEAST) of Knowledge and will present on “What Does Good Eating Disorder Treatment Look Like?”
On Wednesday, March 22, Dr. Muhlheim will virtually present an overview of eating disorder assessment and treatment to the staff at El Centro de Amistad, a mental health agency in the San Fernando Valley.
On March 31, Dr. Muhlheim will provide a training to staff at Alvord Baker and Associates, a group practice in Maryland on the Overview of Diagnosis and Treatment for ARFID.
In May and June, Dr. Muhlheim will conduct two 6-hour trainings on “Eating Disorders: Working with Children and their Families” for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health staff.
In June, Dr. Muhlheim will co-present two workshops at the Academy for Eating Disorders’ International Conference on Eating Disorders: “The Great Weight Debate” and “Adults with ARFID.”
